It effectively operates both condensing and non-condensing boilers, accommodating modulating, single-stage, or two-stage configurations. This provides a versatile and cost-effective solution for mixed boiler plants, enhancing system performance. The target water temperature can be regulated based on outdoor temperature reset or a fixed setpoint for various heating applications, including space and process heating. Additionally, the 284 supports additional loads such as domestic hot water and fixed setpoint heating.
